Before I get busy stuffing our little hatchback stupid full of camping gear for a little outdoor fun with a 2 year old (tent camping...ahhhh!!!)I can't forget to mention the class I'm giving this Wednesday.
Here's the SCOOP:
Wednesday July 23 - Free Embroidery Lesson
A crash course demonstrating several basic embroidery stitches and funky iron-on transfers. You will have the opportunity to try the stitches making a sampler to take home. Please contact us to sign up. 477- 4286 or firstname.lastname@example.org . Materials provided.
The long and short of it? It's FREE and you will learn how to do several easy but IMPRESSIVE stitches to make your embroidery projects look extra fancy pants.
I'll be guiding the lesson on making your own stitching sampler. It's very cute and can be framed as is, or just used to learn how to stitch. Lots of fun! You'll be surprised what you already know how to do!
When I was asked to teach a class for the Old House's Wednesday night craft sessions in July, I thought it was a great opportunity to get the word out there about Sublime Stitching. It's super easy, and fun. ANYONE with 10 fingers can do it, I'm pretty sure. All the patterns are available at the shop, and I'll be offering a 10% discount on all the materials during the class.
Come by and check it out! Drop in's are welcome so bring a friend. Registration isn't required but is appreciated since I will be pre-pressing the transfers for each sampler.
