The rain really put a cramp in my plans today. In fact, all weekend it's going to be rainy (hence, no camping or campfires). Soggy marshmallows really aren't that appetizing.
On the up side, I will have more time to work on the Lune collection I'll be showing at the upcoming Nature is the New Black fashion show presented by the Costume Museum of Canada this September (details tba to public soon!). The theme of the show is to celebrate natural fiber - and recycled material. Since most of the vintage slips I dye are made of synthetics, I'm going to incorporating some crewelwork to each dress. If I can make it work, I hope it'll result in an inspiring union of synthetic & natural.
