Last weekend, we visited the beach house one more time before it closes up for the season. It was chilly, but very sunny and beautiful. The waves were rolling down by the beach, and we picked flat white rocks, clam shells, and sparkly granite.
There are a ton of beautiful long gull feathers littering the beach.
Can you believe these HUGE mushrooms growing out of the trees? I don't know if I've ever seen this, but they were all over. I don't know if this is tree healthy, but it sure looked like something from a fairytale forest. I half expected to see a gnome peek around the corner. I should have ate them. Maybe they were magic...
I've said it before, but I'll say it again. For some reason, this summer felt really special for me. I think we enjoyed ever single second of it. I'm so glad this was a special summer for the 3 of us.
Dear Summer, I'll miss you. See you next year!
