Lunar Eclipse

Tonight, if you're up late, witness the first total lunar eclipse during the winter solstice since 1638.
Manitobans (like me) can see exact times to view the eclipse HERE. If you live somewhere other than north America, visit this site for viewing times.

I'm a moon gazer, so when my father in law took a series of full moon portraits last year on his winter island stay, I was pretty enchanted. See his collection in this post.

In astrology, lunar eclipses are a time signifying major change, endings and new beginnings. Coinciding with the winter solstice, and the beginning of a new year, I'm sure we're all ready to embrace it's power.

Happy Gazing,  Jill
