January Shop Update

So, January is almost over. It really flew by, but that's probably because it feels like so much has happened.

Here's January's Shop Roundup on what's going on at Lune Vintage
567 Broadway Ave, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Our local vintage store - Lune Vintage has been growing and evolving nicely bit by bit. I'm finding it easy to keep the stock fresh between weekly shopping trips and community interest in selling or consigning with us. We're getting extremely positive feedback from customers who have been very supportive with their word of mouth, and by purchasing some amazing vintage pieces for their own wardrobes.

The shop is looking more and more like the secret bohemian vintage paradise I envision it to be. We put our new vinyl window signage up a couple weeks ago, and built a window stage for displays this weekend. This week, I'll be applying finishing surfaces to the raw stage structure. I'll show you a before, during and after of the process. I'm really excited about this detail because I really love visual merchandising and have some wonderful ideas to make passers by on this busy street do a double take!

January was also an early Spring pre-view of Lune's 2011 spring summer accessory line. The first of the collection is available at our local shop and HERE. Developing an accessory line for Lune is very important to my creative health, and I'm in love with the direction Love Lune is going this year. It's a side project that I can put my heart into - and it feels good.

January was our first FULL month at the new location on Broadway, and I couldn't imagine it going better.
It's a great place for us to grow, and call home. I'm so much looking forward to each new month of 2011!

Love Jill & the Lune family
