It's almost midnight, and I'm sitting across from a sleeping baby, a snoring 5 year old, and beside a husband watching an episode of south park. Finally a rest. Vacation can kind of be exhausting. It's all about packing in as much as possible in one day, then getting up early and doing it all over again. It's also about walking and walking and walking your ass off, which helps with all the junk food you can't help but eat when on the road. We drove for two days, and today we spent the day in Deadwood - a very old cowboy town turned mini gambling mecca. I loved the history, and visiting a century old cemetery with famous names like Wild Bill and Calamity Jane. We stayed in the most outdated, tiny hotel room I've ever been in. It was tiring, but fun - I love riding trolleys and shopping antique shops. Here are a few pictures of our day.
