Hello.

Welcome to the Lune Travels Blog. I'm Jill. Within this blog you will find 10 years of travel, camping, and family stories. There is still time to tell many more. Please enjoy, and thank you for reading Lune Travels.

shopping trip

Remember the days when your choices for where to shop consisted of a couple stores at the mall? Online shopping has overtaken our house, without a doubt. It started with ebay years ago, and at this point most of our clothes & consumer needs are met through online shops, big and small, worldwide.

Let's go window shopping . . .

Dashfield Vintage is based out of New Zealand. It fascinates me to see what vintage looks like from different areas of the world. Dashfield's selection proves that there's quality vintage to be discovered down under. Lune's shop pics are this 1970's Maxi Tartan Skirt - I would style it with a white or green tank, a pair of closed toe clogs, and a long silver pendant & lots of bangles. I love the vintage mens vanity case with mustard lining too. It's well made and in mint condition. A stylish way to organize yourself on the road or at home.

In Louisiana, Bayou Bohemian  allows vintage, antique, natural and primitive elements to combine, creating a collection of irresistibly beautiful jewelry. The gorgeous blue jay feather Dream Essential Locket necklace is my pick, but between arrowheads and turquoise, I was also torn.

Firebird Retro is based in London, England. I was fully digging this cute 70's halter sun dress with a cart print. Great colors and flattering fit - two requirements for a vintage piece with modern wearability.  Summer mini dresses like this are so easy to bring into fall as tunic tops, just add a sweater & some cute bell bottoms.

Rachel of MouseVox Vintage is a bit Nashville, a bit San Francisco. Either way, she's 100 % dedicated to maintaining a giant year round collection to offer her customers via the MouseVox etsy and ebay shops. Beautiful, friendly, interesting and professional, check out Rachels blog for more about this classy chick. I could see myself wearing this 1970's Painted Marigold Dress with a high leather belt, a pair of brown leather boots & a golden yellow fringed scarf well into fall.

That was a fun post (as usual - I really love it). Thanks to the world of online shopping, which has expanded all our fashion options, the mail is truly something to look forward to.

If you'd like to sponsor Lune in the fall, which includes partaking in Lune's monthly shopping trip, spots are available HERE.
