Last night, Luke pulled an old book from the bookshelf and asked me what it was. When I was young, I received a second hand book from my cousin, who was given it as a child in 1974. Although it hardly had any pictures, I became enthralled with it. First, because of it's often dismal, gruesome & fact of life situations. Then, as I grew older, I would read it here and there when I felt like I needed a reminder of the right thing to do.
Jupiter and the Bee is a good one, reminding us that wishing harm and directing negative thoughts towards others we feel have wronged us is ultimately damaging to ourselves.
I was happy to read this, and remember it's truth today.
