Hello! I've been gone for a little while, enjoying the long weekend. We had a great one with lots of family time to soak in the mild winter weather and relax. I hung out at my favorite Winnipeg pub, ate crazy hot chickpea curry, laughed and talked with my friend LA, and listened to some laid back live music. I survived yet another kid sleepover with an impromptu 3:30 wake up and unsupervised snack. We celebrated a 1st birthday for my little nephew and enjoyed mimosas and cake, and later on we skated down the beautiful frozen river, under bridges and past shelters & bonfires. Everyone came home smelling like smoke - and I had a huge chance to clear my head. It was sweet.
This week I'm back to work, curating another update for the shop. I've started it with a few select pieces you might want to check out. It's hard for me to part with these things. Now that I have the luxury to not need to buy a ton to keep the shop full - I'm only investing in my favorite styles - Bohemian 60's and 70's gear that would work just fine in my own wardrobe. It's dangerous. There are a few things I held back and am going through stages of separation with currently. I had a really hard time with the vintage leather backpack just listed in the webshop - it's so perfect for spring and summer. I love a good leather backpack, a flowy cotton dress and some laced up sandals. The perfect summer look.
