I'm so happy summer is almost here. Our house is small, so when the weather turns nice we like to spend as much time outside as we can. This week we stopped by the outdoor market in our neighborhood, a short wagon ride away. Luke asked for a basket of Bing cherries, which are always pricey, but so worth it. I love how little things like this can turn into an event. Sitting in the sunny porch, enjoying bowls of sweet round cherries. Juicy fingers and faces, and a bowl full of pits before you know it.

I hope your weekend is a nice one. We planned to go to the big fair that's in town every time this year (since 1952!), but the weather isn't cooperating right now. I'm hoping the sun comes out and we can ride a roller coaster, and finish the day late at night eating perogies on the midway (tradition).
