I gifted this vintage baroque freshwater pearl bracelet to my mom for her birthday. I love wrapping gifts like this with supplies I have on hand, so I always keep scraps in a drawer for that purpose. This time I used some left over trim from a crochet doily as a bed for the bracelet, and some more on top to protect it. I tore the scrap floral linen into the right size and wrapped it tightly around the box. White twine held everything snugly without the use of pins or tape. Not everyone enjoys a vintage gift, but those who do will probably love thoughtful re purposed wrapping. Plus, you can skip the dollar stores, gift bags and generic cards entirely. Pretty and eco friendly.
