Oh yes, it's time for more Mexico pictures people! On a freezing cold January day like this, it's all I have to keep me going, ok?
Today's post explores Xcaret archaeological park. This park was very close to the resort we stayed at. We're talking a 5 minute walk down a lazy river, or a 3 minute gondola ride. We spent most of our day there, and didn't take it all in. Partially because the sky opened up around 5pm and doused us all with ridiculous amounts of rain. Honestly, I don't think I've ever experienced that. It was like having buckets splashed in your face. Eve thought it was hilarious. Thankfully, by the time we watched the night show, it had stopped storming. Although we missed some things, we saw enough to make it completely worth spending the day at Xcaret.
Here are some photos of what we did see. There was never a dull moment.
It's -40 with the windchill this week. You can bet I'm living in the past right now, and planning how I can return to paradise as soon as possible! There's nothing like a vacation, is there?
