Ah nostalgia . . . back in the 80's slide viewing parties were common place. I remember seeing slides of my neighbors trip to Saudi Arabia. It's easy to recall the click and spin of the tray after each image was cast on the big roll down screen and the narrative that followed each projection. This was the beginning of how we now share our lives publicly in the new millennium. By creating a celebration of the experience through dramatic recall, the result is something larger than just a memory. It's now an independent production, complete with chips and dip. I think life is deserving of that treatment every once in a while.
Projecteo was kind enough to send us one of their tiny Instagram projectors. Their site makes it easy to draw photos right from your Instagram feed and to make themed reels for their mini projector. This little device offers a fantastic way to bring the production back into the way you share photos with your friends and family. Luke and Eve thought it was the coolest, and knowing that they've never experienced a non digital slideshow, it was fun to expose them to the concept. The little projector worked right away, focused nicely and was surprisingly sturdy for such a tiny gadget. Wouldn't it make the cutest stocking stuffer? Check it out at www.getprojecteo.com .
