Hello! We're home from a little trip to Las Vegas, Nevada! It was a whirlwind trip that left little time for relaxation and rest, but it is full of memories. This was the first trip just Todd and I have taken together in years. Truthfully, Las Vegas wasn't on the top of my travel wishlist, but I heard good things about it and the price and time frame was right. I'm glad we decided to try it out, but it's not exactly a bohemian paradise. It's an energy fueled neon experience in excess. At times I felt overwhelmed and put off by it, and other times I enjoyed that there was always something to do. Too much in fact. We were only there for 3 and a half days, and in that time we also took a tour to the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Nuts.
Photos have always been my favorite souvenir to take home. Turns out, the photo count was close to our Playa del Carmen trip - nearing 700 frames! Of course, I'll probably edit that down to 100 favorite images. One of the main reasons I moved to this new blog platform was the options available for photo galleries. I'm pulling together a couple this week. One of Vegas itself, and one of the Grand Canyon. Some of the trips we've taken in the past few years can be seen this way in the Travelogues menu of this site.
Back to editing I go. PS. Happy Spring everyone!
