Athabasca falls

Athabasca falls

What can I say about these rushing blue waters that would do them justice? You'll find Athabasca falls off of the Icefields Parkway - a highway which winds it's way through glacier capped mountains and forests, past babbling brooks and glassy lakes. The journey itself is humbling. We enjoyed Banff, but the drive toward Jasper on this route was the best experience of the trip. It can not be missed. There were so many natural wonders to stop and marvel at that we returned from the opposite direction the following day. Here at the falls, we spent our time wandering along the many paths under the mist and roar of powerful waters. It was incredible.
