Vintage fiber art has long been a favorite of mine. I'm constantly on the lookout for macrame, woven and hooked wall art. Todd has almost stopped rolling his eyes and questioning my sanity when I unveil my latest wonder but I can see that things are starting to get a little crowded around here. I'm running out of wall space to be honest. So, I've decided that the next Lune Vintage update on @luneshop will feature vintage fiber art! Look for macrame art, latch hook wall rugs, woven tapestries and possibly a few mobiles too. I only collect what I can picture in my own home, so if we share the same vibe I know you'll like what I have in store. Look for the January update to be announced soon.
On a related note, I'm really into latch hooking lately. I even started my own HUGE (for a newebie) project called Mountain High. It's a 30" x 50" wall hanging in blue and green hues that I picked up from a thrift shop last week. I'll be sharing my progress on Instagram. So far I have one line - but it's a real long one. It took me all night. Hopefully my latching speed will improve with time or it'll be summer by the time I can enjoy my mountain.
