Hello friends! I hope the holiday season is treating you nicely. We're staying put here in Winnipeg until Christmas, busy with the usual family stuff that makes the season both fun and hectic. Our tree is up, and after sawing a bit off the top and a bit off the bottom, Todd made it fit nicely. It smells so great in here. That evergreen smell is one of my favourites.
This weekend we pulled off a LOT of family time. We visited my brother at his apartment and had a nice supper together, bought a tree and put it up, had an at home sushi date, went skating with Luke and Eve's cousins, met Santa and Mrs. Claus, and went on a sleigh ride. Oh yeah, and I dyed my hair! Whew. I can't believe how this month is flying by. This week we have parties to attend and Lukes winter concert at school. Seeing him up on stage is always a highlight of the school year for us. He's very excited about it.
Here are a few photos from our weekend. I don't know if we can keep up the pace, but we're trying to check off all those December good times and make them a priority. That's what's most important after all.
