Kangaroo Creek Farms in Lake Country

Kangaroo Creek Farms in Lake Country

Eve has always had a thing for animals. Human babies, not a bit interested. Animal babies, she's all over it! It seems as though they feel the same affection towards her, as we discovered at the Monkey Jungle of El Choco . This time she was delighted to pet, feed, and converse with a community of Kangaroos, Wallabies, and Wallaroos, along with a variety of other animals. Here's a few photos of our morning at Kangaroo Creek Farm in Lake Country, British Columbia.

You'll notice I focused on Eve's love for close encounters with animals. Luke has always been standoff-ish at best. He's really turned off by the smells, wet noses and tongues, and things pulling or getting in his hair. This time he managed to trip and fall in some poopy mud.  I don't blame him though. To be totally candid, I'm happier to take pictures of the beautiful and interesting animal faces rather that have them lick food out of my hand or crawl over me. To each, their own!

Todd was trying to get over the flu from the day before, and finally found a place to rest. That is until a goat kicked him off. It was the goat's bench I guess.
